STS Technical Services’ Vice President of Sales, Chuck Harrison, and its Business Development Manager, Abby Thompson, attended the AUSA Annual Meeting and Exposition located at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. on October 13 — 15, 2014.

STS Technical Services partners with other organizations to support the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) initiative designed to protect our friends in the United State’s Armed Forces.  We proudly support our Nation’s troops, veterans and their families by actively recruiting veterans for our open positions.

As stated by AUSA, “The AUSA Annual Meeting is the largest landpower exposition and professional development forum in North America.  The event includes informative presentations, panel discussions on pertinent military and national security subjects, workshops and important AUSA business meetings.

The Association of United States Army, or AUSA, is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports The United States Army; Active, National Guard, Reserve, Civilians, Retirees, Government Civilians, Wounded Warriors, Veterans and family members. AUSA provides numerous Professional Development Opportunities at a variety of events at both the local and national level.

AUSA has 125 chapters located worldwide.  Made up entirely of volunteers, they provide recreational and educational opportunities to soldiers and their families.  Most importantly, they support our deployed soldiers and families left behind.  AUSA and its chapters have contributed over $2,000,000 to awards, scholarships, and support of soldiers and family programs.”

STS Technical Services annually attends the AUSA Meeting so that we can support, meet and strategize with our clients within the Defense Industry.  We had a great time at this year’s annual meeting and look forward to next year’s.
